In most cases, snoring is merely inconvenient. However, for some people, it may be a symptom of obstructive sleep apnea, which is very serious if you do not seek out treatment. This machine is used to keep the airway open during sleep.<\/li><li>A mouthpiece that keeps the jaw forward during sleep may also be prescribed.<\/li><\/ul><p>For some patients, CPAP treatment is not effective for treating their obstructive sleep apnea.
