About Dr. Harshdeep S. Mangat

Dr. Harshdeep Mangat is a dual-degree and double-board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He completed his medical and dental education at the University of Alberta and McGill University, followed by his surgical training at the University of Toronto. He pursued a prestigious fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in London, England. With this exceptional experience, Dr. Mangat has developed expertise in the full scope of Oral, Maxillofacial, and Facial Plastic Surgery, including corrective jaw surgery and a comprehensive range of facial rejuvenation and cosmetic surgery procedures. By training under some of the foremost surgeons in these fields, he has honed an extensive skillset in both surgical and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. This surgical experience is further enriched by his numerous peer-reviewed publications, international presentations, and dedication to teaching and mentoring surgical trainees. Additionally, as a scientific reviewer for the Facial Plastic Surgery journal and an active member of the European Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Mangat remains engaged with cutting-edge advancements and techniques in his field. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mangat enjoys skiing, cycling, and exploring diverse cultures as an avid traveler. His enthusiasm for sports peaks during the NBA Finals and the FIFA World Cup. Dr. Mangat currently practices in Ottawa, where he provides comprehensive care in Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery while contributing his expertise to the local community.
